It just seems that lately everything that could possibly go wrong has gone exactly that way. I decide to make this an audio blog and then it takes me forever to get the proper software. Then I get the software and the computer craps out on me. Then this. Then that. And so here I find myself with some free time before going on the air (for those that don’t know, I do a weekly radio show) and thought that you VERY patient readers needed an explanation of sorts…

So there you have it.

And in the midst of all of this what else is going on? Well…more of the same, of course. Great to see that there’s not ever going to be a lack of things to be pissed about. Not with this new Democrat-led Congress. I just hope that I can keep my language “PG” on my audio posts. Aw, who am I kidding?

Well, I’ve finally found the proper audio blogging software. It’s actually a WordPress Plugin. Go figure!

You know what? I’m getting a bit too busy these days and when I’m free I really don’t feel much like typing (since I do that pretty much all day, anyway)…so this will soon be an AUDIO blog. That’s right. Instead of trying to navigate my words you will be subjected to my nasal whines, bitches, and moans. At least for the time being. Call it an experiment, if you will.

This is truly pathetic, sickening, and also a great barometer by which to gauge people’s views on terrorism.

So yesterday afternoon we’re all wondering what the hell is going on when word of “suspicious” packages found at various tactical locations throughout Boston is all over the news. Boston pretty much shut down and people were seriously worried…and now it turns out to have been nothing more than a publicity stunt for Cartoon Network carried out by two complete and utter idiots.

Watching these two buffoons give a press conference this morning proved to me that people in this country most certainly DO NOT take terrorism seriously. Various talking heads, pundits, and commentators are minimizing this stunt and asking us to “have a sense of humor” about it. The two morons themselves spent their entire press conference talking about 70’s hairstyles (and their own)…never once apologizing for their actions. They were VERY smug and nonchalant about it all.

Yes, I have a sense of humor…but I also happen to believe that one needs to exercise discretion in this post 9-11 age. These jack-asses could have placed their “promotional materials” elsewhere, rather than in prominent places where abandoned packages with wires hanging out might be (and were) taken as a potential threat.

Sadly, though, I think that it won’t come as any surprise to anyone when these two “performance artists” become media darlings…

So Texas is CONSIDERING not allowing ILLEGALS to get in-state tuition rates at local colleges anymore. These “undocumented” students have been allowed to get the reduced in-state rate but officials are now considering changing things. My question is this - why are we even allowing ILLEGALS (they’re not undocumented, they are ILLEGALS…law breakers) to attend schools here in the U.S.? And to even consider giving them a reduced tuition rate????? That, my friends, is beyond RIDICULOUS!!!

Well, I’ve been trying to write something each and every day but the fact of the matter is that I can’t seem to come up with anything other than profanity-ridden banter, inspired by the ever-growing lack of integrity amongst the mass media…and even some politicians on BOTH sides of the fence. So, instead, I just DON’T write at all.

I have, however, been contributing on and off to the Mike Gallagher Show…sort of. Over the past few weeks I have actually been getting through and talking to Mike on the air. Gallagher has become one of my fave “talkers”, mostly due to his attitude towards callers. When someone is obviously being a complete idiot, Mike doesn’t pull punches and tells them off…instead of placating them and pussyfooting around issues. His show is a lot like mine would be…if I had one.

Well, I do have my radio show but it’s musically-driven and I try to keep politics out of it. After all, my views would not exactly go over well at the radio station that hosts the show…where they preach tolerance while being VERY intolerant of any views different from theirs.

Oh, well…as you were.

There is no way that we will ever truly win this WAR if we keep on placating the media and other whiners out there while forcing our our troops to “fight” with one hand tied behind their backs. Can you imagine WW2 with embedded reporters and hourly tallies of troop casualties? What we need to do is fight this war like a war is supposed to be fought…and it’s not supposed to be pretty, damnit! People die in war. That’s the sad fact of it. Period.

I’m trying to keep this band non-political but sometimes things just have to be said…

I suppose that if Jack Bauer can get back into gear and start kicking terror ass again I could get back into writing mode and continue to swat at the flies that surround this great big pile of crap known as the political game…right?

Let me begin by giving you all some updates:

1. I am now (once again) a full-time Dad. That’s right…Jake (14) has come to live with me and I’m super-excited about it all. He just started second semester of 9th grade at a local school and things seem to be going great (so far). He’s an amazing kid and this is what I’ve been after for the past 12 years.

2. We have another new addition to the family - Otis. He’s a 12 week old Boston Terrier who has really made himself at home here at the “zoo”. The little bugger was supposed to be Kate’s…but he won’t leave me alone! Hahah. he’s a Daddy’s boy…and Lulu is a little bit jealous.

3. After over a dozen years I have gone behind the mic once again…fronting a local Denver band called The Det-Sonics. It’s just a group of friends getting together and making some good, old-fashioned punk rock noise but, since I do run a record label, we’ll see where it goes. Right now we’re mainly having a ton of fun…and that’s the important part.

Politics? It’s just more of the same isn’t it? Obama for President? I think not. I cannot bring myself to believe that Americans are so STUPID that they’d vote for an empty suit. Or perhaps they are. What the hell do I know? Sometimes I give people way too much credit when, in fact, all they deserve is a good whack to the back of their heads!

So who am I leaning towards for the ‘08 election? As of now my money’s on Mitt Romney. More on that later…

Getting back to “24″…I think that all Americans should be watching this show (especially this season) and witnessing what will likely happen here on our own soil if we keep fighting this WAR ON ISLAMIC EXTREMISTS with kid gloves and in a P.C. way. Yeah…let’s give these bastards lawyers and afford them the rights that only U.S. citizens should have. Let’s pity them and try to “understand” them. To hell with that! I say (in the great words of “the Spaniard”)…UNLEASH HELL!!!!

Remember how the Democrats were trying to drum up support for themselves and scare voters by claiming that Republicans were going to try to reinstate the draft? Well, it seems like it was a case of the pot calling the kettle black…

So I’m watching this Hoyer guy talking about the new agenda that he promises he will help to implement and I’m wondering exactly WHAT the new Liberal agenda actually is. I mean…they talk about it a hell of a lot but I don’t think that anyone has really made it clear what this new “agenda” entails.

Watching this Pelosi/Hoyer press conference also reminded me of how damned SCARY-looking this bunch is. Ewwwww!!!

Oh…and what a bunch of two-faced buffoons they are as well. I’m so SURE that Murtha is as happy as he was trying so hard to look…
